  • Create awareness amongst Sowetan males on gender-based violence and domestic violence.

Business ethics are the principles and norms that serve as a guide for good and bad

conduct in business. Your company might have a specific, written code of conduct that

acts as the ethical guidelines for employees.

Nevertheless, many ethical standards in business are implied, rather than being

explicitly written down. An implied ethical standard is one that has been derived from

your own ethical standards, or those of your family, friends, co-workers, and the society

around you. Ethical standards influence your beliefs and how you make decisions.

In simple terms, the purpose of the PoPI Act is to ensure that all South African institutions conduct themselves in a responsible manner when collecting, processing, storing and sharing another entity’s personal information by holding them accountable should they abuse or compromise your personal information in any way.
